About

Barbara ClarkDuring this time of rapid spiritual growth, many of us have experienced challenges. Emotional or physical, these challenges have been many and varied. They have ranged from mild discomfort, aches and pains, to potentially fatal dis-eases.

For over fifteen years I have been an Emotional Freedom Technique and Reiki Practitioner. More recently I created the Beyond Affirmations healing guided meditation series and became a channeller. My book, Brighter Horizons: Spiritual Illuminations From The Magdaleine Group, has been described as being “right up there with Abraham, Seth and Conversations With God“.

I am passionate about sharing one simple message; Your body is not your enemy. It is always, always doing the very best it can to support you.

Learning this simple truth empowers you and helps you to work with, rather than against, your body. Whether you are dealing with illness, dis-ease or weight issues, this positive, cooperative approach is much gentler and more effective than beating yourself up and battling your body with negative self-talk.

You will feel better, heal faster and your body will come back into balance much faster when you realise you are both on the same side and work together.

The “What Your Body Wants to Hear” programmes were birthed though my own health challenge and are designed to support you through yours. These tightly focused, interactive, guided meditations are designed to address the emotional issues responsible for creating pain in specific areas of the body.

Also available in the “What Your Body Wants To Hear” series are guided meditations to help you release fears or blocks in other areas of your life such as finances, self love and food.  You can see the complete series here

Each meditation covers the topic in a unique, specific and thorough manner.

Whether you are on a journey of physical healing, weight loss, personal development or spiritual growth, these meditations will support your process.

Why “Beyond Affirmations?”

Many of us worked with affirmations and nothing changed. I believe this happens because that powerhouse, which is the subconscious mind, is not in alignment with what we are affirming.

We have a belief barrier!

The human mind is a great problem-solver. When we ask a question, rather than make a statement, (which, to the mind, seems to be untrue) the mind immediately sets out to find answers and becomes open to new possibilities.

Having said that, positive healing affirmations are powerful when we have released a certain amount of resistance. That is why the “What Your Body Wants to Hear” series, consists of three stages: releasing statements, empowering questions and positive healing affirmations. Every meditation ends with gratitude, peace and love.

Deliberately and consciously loving and appreciating your body can be seen as preventative medicine. But is also a part of this spiritual journey we are all on. It is time to integrate all of who we truly are.

About me

After being attuned to the Usui System of Natural Healing, Sho Den and Oku Den in 2001, I studied Emotional Freedom Technique and became a member of the Association for the Advancement of Meridian Therapies.  My journey continued into Shamanic and Druidic teachings and other healing modalities, such as The Zpoint Process and Divine Love Healing.

In 2009, I faced my own health challenge and knew how important my belief system and emotional state would be in my healing journey.  But even with this knowledge, fears, doubts and some tears arose fairly regularly. I knew I had to release fear and negative thinking!

I used all the healing modalities I knew and am certain they all contributed hugely to my wellness. But they didn’t  completely stop the fear and negative thoughts arising.

As I walk most days, I began the practice of taking myself through what has now become the What Your Body Wants to Hear process. Beginning, as all the recordings do, by sending love and gratitude then healing affirmations to every single cell in my body.

I soon noticed that I felt a lot better after my walks!

Three years ago, there were some days I was unable to get out of bed.  This year, I made the long journey from Scotland to Wyoming and back, with ease!

I believe the process helped me get out of my body’s way. I grew to trust, and believe that all was well and that my body could heal itself.  It also helped me attain a much deeper level of love and appreciation for my body.

I believe everything happens for a reason.  We create our realities, teach what we most need to learn and there are no “co-incidences”. It is my firm belief that part of the reason I manifested my “dis-ease” was to help further my passion to send out one, simple, message: Our bodies are not our enemies!  They are always, always, doing the very best they can to support us.
