For two days over the weekend just gone, I was in agony, I had severe pain in both sides of my neck and at the base of my skull, I thought it was due to a flare up of my fibromyalgia. So I put hot packs on my neck and took the max. dose of painkillers. I began to think I would have to see my chiropractor again!
Anyway like I told you in my last email I’d downloaded your meditations and it was that same night that I was guided to listen to your meditation on Grief & Trauma. I started to play it and as it continued I burst into tears and just kept sobbing….What a release!
I knew I was letting go of the Grief & Trauma that had been building up since my beloved husband passed over two years previous. And the things you mentioned on the meditation I really identified with and I was a little taken aback as I hadn’t realised I was holding onto such beliefs!
And recently I’d left a job where I’d been bullied and was still holding onto a lot of resentment and unforgiveness towards my ex-colleagues and over the last few years many of the jobs I have undertaken, had left me feeling disappointed, hurt and lacking in confidence. So I think some of these emotions were also released!
After the tears I felt as though a weight had lifted from me and a lot of the pain in my neck and at the base of my skull had GONE! And that night I slept soundly which was wonderful as the previous two nights I’d hardly slept due to the agonising pain.
So THANKS AGAIN Barbara!! I will continue to listen to your Grief & Trauma meditation (& your other meditations).
Wow, “What Your Body Wants to Hear Release Grief & Trauma” is the most amazing guided meditation I have come across! There are so many out there but this really asks the most profound questions … making you really look into your thoughts and feelings. A.Y.

I started with the free one and really enjoyed it. It gave me a nice feeling afterwards. Then I bought the heal your neck because I’ve had neck pain off and on for years. After the first time listening my pain went from a 9 (10 being the worst pain) down to a 3. That is significant. Now that I have listened to it for about a week my pain is down to a 1. The narrater has a soothing voice and the music is a nice compliment. I have even fallen asleep listening to it. I don’t usually write reviews but this is worth the money.

So I downloaded and on the first night, a great weight was lifted off of me. Two days later I purchase the self love package. This is the best app I have found for supporting and changing your thinking. Affirmations are great but this takes them to the next level! It’s a quality app, not buggy like some other meditation type apps I have tried. I fully intend to download all the sections of it as finances permit. The meditations are fantastic 🙂 you can adjust the music and voice loudness to your liking. The first two meditations are free. The rest are only 6 dollars download but well worth it. I just wanted to thank you for the Stomach tape. I am finding it so helpful. I have had tummy troubles for couple of years now, following two bereavements and then losing my job!
You may recall I was helped immensely by your guided meditation for releasing grief and trauma so I thought I would continue the healing process by freeing myself from needing the Omezrapole medication which I take for acid reflux.
It is early days yet but I listen to the meditation tape instead of taking the medication and I know my stomach is feeling the benefit of all the loving and liberating thoughts that I am sending it. It’s great to feel I can have a relationship with my own tummy and, like a mum, comfort it as I would a child.
I do continue to take medication if symptoms dictate and am grateful for that but it is wonderfully empowering to begin the self healing process.

For everyone else’s info, I ordered two of Barbara’s affirmation mp3s and really loved them. If you resonate with my affirmation CDs, then you’ll love hers, as well. She separates the parts of the body which may be having troubles and speaks such lovely affirmations about those parts.

Dear Barbara, just wanted you to know how the meditation for helping me and my stomach has begun to affect my behaviour.
I realise I have a habit of internalising negative emotions and, in the spirit of ‘clearing all ways in which I have stored indigestable emotions’ found myself doing something I have never done before…… think it’s simply called standing up for yourself! Yesterday at work I felt I was unfairly treated and found myself nursing the emotional wound all night and even had a dream in which I did indeed stood up for myself. I released a lot of anger. This morning I have emailed my boss to communicate how I felt in a calm reasoned way so hope it does the job! Fingers crossed :-)Much love
