Our immune systems are designed to recognise and eliminate viruses, bacteria and other foreign invaders. For the most part they do an amazing job!  However, our immune systems can become less effective when we are under pressure, feel like giving up, are pushing too hard, feel insecure, threatened or manipulated. If you are feeling under the weather, check to see if you are feeling any of those emotions. That will give you ideas for what to tap on. But you can start boosting your immune system right now by tapping on the following the suggestions.

If you have symptoms of illness, pain or discomfort, use those in your set up statement as you tap on your Karate Point. For example, “Even though I have this cold, I deeply and completely love, accept and forgive myself”. Repeat this three times then tap the Eyebrow Point gently, around ten times, saying “I have this cold”. Move to the Side Of Eye point and repeat, “I have this cold”. Repeat this at all the tapping points finishing off with the Top of Your Head point.

Almost anyone can get pretty impressive results using Emotional Freedom Technique. But an E.F.T. professional who knows the importance of being specific and thorough can achieve incredible, sometimes life-changing results.

The same is true of meditation. Almost everyone benefits from practicing it, whether silent meditation or guided meditation.A very sad and frustrating situation for our First Minister and the entire SNP . They have shown immense strength ,compassion and dignity on the subject of war on Syria. It is sad and ironic that fighter jets are being deployed from Lossiemouth in Scotland. A Scotland where the largest majority of people want no part in the suffering of fellow human beings.

With my E.F.T. background I am very aware of the powerful healing which can result when we are very specific and thorough. That is why I designed the What Your Body Wants To Hear meditation series to be very detailed, precise and specific in addressing the individual emotions likely to be held in particular areas of the body.

Rheumatoid Arthritis is an auto-immune dis♥ease where our immune system attacks the membranes of our joints. Movement becomes limited and joints become rigid and painful. Rheumatoid Arthritis is a condition of conflict.

Some of the emotions implicated in Rheumatoid Arthritis are:- Inner rigidity, overly self disciplined, self critical, giving to others but not to self, repressed anger, judgemental, low self esteem, negative or critical, stuck, lack of assertiveness, resentful, bitter, attacking self, lost self, don’t recognise self, something in self you don’t want to see or recognise. Feeling inhibited, unable to act the way you really want to. Destroying yourself with guilt or shame.

Undermining self, criticism, lack of self respect, want to hit out. inhibiting the desire to hit out, Stuck, lifeless, lost sense of purpose, self dislike eating away at us, no point in doing anything. No longer able to do what we did before. No longer active, Can’t/don’t know how/haven’t found a way to be softer, gentler and more appreciative of self. Attacking self, confusion, Don’t recognise self.

Life doesn’t really matter/no longer matters. Guilt, shame, blame, lack of self esteem/respect. Dislike or hatred of self. Refusing to accept help from self or others. Negating our own inner beauty. Undermining love of life. Overly critical, putting self down, disappointed in self or someone else wearing away at you eroding your sense of self worth. Refusal to change, fear of the future, not feeling safe, feeling totally alone, desolation, despair, hopelessness. Trying to prove yourself, Low self worth, Lost the will to live, Crying on the inside, Given up, deep seated grief, Hopeless “it’s no use”.

Fibromyalgia, M.E., Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, seem to be symptomatic of the modern age. They are dis♥eases which have developed in response to the ever increasing pressure to succeed, to fit in, to be “good enough”. Fear of failure and/or lack of self-love contribute to the emotional exhaustion and physical pain. Unconscsious emotional pain is expressed through our bodies as dis♥ease.

Some of the emotions often implicated in this type of dis♥ease are:- Feeling totally alone. Feelings of desolation, despair, hopelessness. Tired of trying to prove yourself. Low self worth. Lost the will to live. Pressure to succeed. Lost dreams/aspirations. Feeling not good enough. Keep pushing oneself or giving up. Finding it difficult to ask for help.
