2018 is a year of rising heart energy, a year where the feminine energy and the energy of no more secrets continues to rise. While we may have thought, imagined or fantasised about what that would look like, it doesn’t look the way we imagined it would!

As empaths, sensitives and lightworkers we know what is really going on. We feel energy and see the bigger picture but even knowing that, we can sometimes lose our focus and get sucked into the energies of fear, conflict, separation and dissonance. So what are the best things to do to prepare for 2018?

Heal Your Own Emotional Wounds Now!

In order to be as effective in playing the part you came here to play at this time of huge transition, you need to be in good emotional shape yourself. If we don’t take care of ourselves first we can fall into blame, judgement, anger, frustration, self-pity, depression and a whole host of other dark places. So please think about that, are there any areas that you still need to heal in yourself? If there are, now is the time to recognise and attend to them with love and compassion (no beating yourself up or self-judgement!).

Make Sure Your Own Emotional Boundaries are Strong and Healthy

Being so attuned to other people’s feelings and emotions, empaths, sensitives and lightworkers are often unaware of where their boundaries end and other people’s begin. We often take on other people’s issues and fears and we aren’t even aware of it. This can be devastating to our sense of well-being and balance, you can’t remain heart-centred when your (or what you think are your) emotions are all over the place!

Stop Trying To Get Others To Understand You

This has been part of the life path of so many of us! So many of us have felt misunderstood all our lives. We have tried relentlessly to get people to understand us and for most of us, it hasn’t worked! What if simply being yourself and forgetting what other people think of you was enough?

It’s not surprising that so many terms include hands. We give handouts, we can handle ourselves, we go hand in hand, we are openhanded, we are handy, we have butterfingers. Rheumatoid Arthritis is an auto-immune dis♥ease where our immune system attacks the membranes of our joints. Movement becomes limited and joints become rigid and painful. Rheumatoid Arthritis is a condition of conflict.

Some of the emotions implicated in Rheumatoid Arthritis are:- Inner rigidity, overly self disciplined, self critical, giving to others but not to self, repressed anger, judgemental, low self esteem, negative or critical, stuck, lack of assertiveness, resentful, bitter, attacking self, lost self, don’t recognise self, something in self you don’t want to see or recognise. Feeling inhibited, unable to act the way you really want to. Destroying yourself with guilt or shame.

Undermining self, criticism, lack of self respect, want to hit out. inhibiting the desire to hit out, Stuck, lifeless, lost sense of purpose, self dislike eating away at us, no point in doing anything. No longer able to do what we did before. No longer active, Can’t/don’t know how/haven’t found a way to be softer, gentler and more appreciative of self. Attacking self, confusion, Don’t recognise self.

Life doesn’t really matter/no longer matters. Guilt, shame, blame, lack of self esteem/respect. Dislike or hatred of self. Refusing to accept help from self or others. Negating our own inner beauty. Undermining love of life. Overly critical, putting self down, disappointed in self or someone else wearing away at you eroding your sense of self worth. Refusal to change, fear of the future, not feeling safe, feeling totally alone, desolation, despair, hopelessness. Trying to prove yourself, Low self worth, Lost the will to live, Crying on the inside, Given up, deep seated grief, Hopeless “it’s no use”.

Anger is perhaps one of our most maligned emotions and yet like all emotions it serves a purpose. It can be a great motivational force but holding on or trying to suppress unhealthy anger is absolutely toxic to our health and emotional well-being. If it is not expressed and released consciously it will express itself though our bodies  as stomach problems, fevers, so called accidents, boils and burns and inflammation. In the vibration of anger you will attract “tug of war” relationships, drama and conflict into your experience. To find peace and create the lives and relationships we want, we have to clear the energy of anger out of our energy fields.

Beyond Affirmations?

tn_183821_CJcrMay2012During our discussion on Soul Searching Radio   last week,   Kelly Smith   asked me to explain my work and how it I came to create it.  We discussed affirmations and why they don’t always seem to work.  As we said on the show, the fact is they do work but we have to be aware of what it is we are actually affirming! If we have an emotional block, the subconscious will not accept  positive suggestions it does not believe to be true.

I am passionate about helping people to love and appreciate their bodies and helping them allow their bodies to heal naturally. I got very frustrated when people got disheartened when positive affirmations didn’t work for them.  They gave up and felt an even greater sense of failure, shame, guilt or powerlessness.  That was why I created the What Your Body Wants To Hear  process.

Inspired by the work of Louise L Hay, Dr Masaru Emoto and others, I researched all the emotional issues generally held in specific areas of the body.  I then created releasing/clearing statements, empowering questions and finally, positive affirmations to cover all those emotions and more. The statements and affirmations cover all these emotions on physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels.

Each recording covers all the emotional issues which are generally held in specific areas of the body.

I created the following recordings to give you a taste of each of the three parts of the What Your Body Wants To Hear  programmes.  These demonstrations cover some of the issues implicated in back pain.

The first part of the process; releasing and clearing.

The second part, gentle, empowering questions or afformations.

And the third part, powerful, positive affirmations to replace your fear-filled, negative or destructive self talk and replace it with empowering, healthy and healing thoughts.
