I just wasn’t hungry any longer. It is waterproof, washable, elastic and self-mending. It protects you against water loss whilst allowing you to perspire. It defends against infection and exposure to foreign substances and regulates your temperature! But…

There Is A Lot More Going On Beneath The Surface Than We Think!

There is a lot more  going on in your skin than meets the eye! Your skin represents the boundary of your body but it also reflects the state of your emotional and energetic boundaries. If you don’t have strong emotional and energetic boundaries in place your skin will reflect that.

I just listened to your skin meditation – Awesome!! I already feel more gratitude for my skin for protecting me with my “spots”. They have served me well in the bigger picture, actually. So thanks for helping me see that. Ms C.C
The “attack” if you will subsided and went away certainly as quickly (1/2 a minute) as the cold water. Hi Barbara, I’m a new subscriber 3/4 months, 76 years old, general health good, no medications. My most troubling health issue is skin/dermatology eg Brachioradial and probably Pruritus etc etc from mild to quite bothersome from time to time (every few days I have a good “flair” up). Prior to finding you web site I was treating my various skin conditions with various lotions and for the Brachioradial / on my arms the Best was very cold water for 4/5 minutes, actually brings immediate relief, lasting a few hours. Prior to finding your site I was using a Meditation app from Meditation Oasis and had been using it generally prior to going to bed/sleep a few times a week, I found it pretty good, but had no real long term experience a year or so with meditation. I’m sure I bumped into your site probably Googling around skin problems, issues etc etc etc. Subsequently I purchased your Beyond Affirmations most particularly Soothe Your Skin and also Healing For Your Heart.
I’d like to pass on a couple of my findings, most specifically to the Brachioradial (when it flares up it’s almost an attack) while having an “attack/itchiness/arms for what ever reason I decided instead of the cold water treatment I’d try your app, I actually used the the Relaxation and well being (15.58) introduction Meditation the “attack” if you will subsided and went away certainly as quickly (1/2 a minute) as the cold water. I’ve repeated this 20+ times in the past month eg works every time? Actually I find it more convenient than the long Soothe Your Skin, whatever works.
I wanted to pass this along because this Brachioradial can be a real problem for many seniors and there is very, very little the dermatologist really know about it or more importantly how to treat it (mine for certain is a pinched nerve in my cervical 5/6 disc). Anyway please pass along if anyone asks, one thing for certain trying what I did certainly can’t cause “any” harm. Mr G.K.

Emotional Release Eases Two Days Of Agonising Pain!

The following is a genuine (unsolicited) letter from a lady who used my What Your Body Wants To Hear, Release Grief & Trauma guided meditation.  To protect her privacy, I’ll call her Mary.  Once again, it seems to prove that when we let go of emotional trauma our bodies can heal and pain can vanish!

“For two days over the weekend just gone, I was in agony, I had severe pain in both sides of my neck and at the base of my skull, I thought it was due to a flare up of my fibromyalgia. So I put hot packs on my neck and took the max. dose of painkillers. I began to think I would have to see my chiropractor again!

Anyway like I told you in my last email I’d downloaded your meditations and it was that same night that I was guided to listen to your meditation on Grief & Trauma. I started to play it and as it continued I burst into tears and just kept sobbing….What a release!

I knew I was letting go of the Grief & Trauma that had been building up since my beloved husband passed over two years previous. And the things you mentioned on the meditation I really identified with and I was a little taken aback as I hadn’t realised I was holding onto such beliefs!

And recently I’d left a job where I’d been bullied and was still holding onto a lot of resentment and unforgiveness towards my ex-colleagues and over the last few years many of the jobs I have undertaken, had left me feeling disappointed, hurt and lacking in confidence. So I think some of these emotions were also released!

After the tears I felt as though a weight had lifted from me and a lot of the pain in my neck and at the base of my skull had GONE! And that night I slept soundly which was wonderful as the previous two nights I’d hardly slept due to the agonising pain.

The key is not the name of the physical condition, it is addressing and releasing the emotional trauma!

It’s important to notice that Mary didn’t do any work on fibromyalgia directly. Finding an outlet for her emotional trauma, grief,  resentment, unforgiveness, disappointment & lack of confidence resulted in two days of agonising pain dissolving!

I am often asked if I have a meditation for this condition or that condition. Although the What Your Body Wants to Hear series is pretty comprehensive, it would be impossible (and unnecessary) to cover every physical condition.

Using a meditation for the specific emotional issues implicated in your condition often affects the physical. That’s obviously what happened for this lady (and I am absolutely delighted for her!).

It doesn’t matter what name is given to physical symptoms, the solution is always the same. Finding a way to discover, acknowledge and release the underlying emotional pain (in conjunction with any other treatment you are doing.
