Our internal dialog, self talk or mind chatter works away on us almost constantly unless we learn to get it under control.
We speak to ourselves and treat ourselves in ways that we would never dream of speaking to or treating someone else and yet our bodies are “someone” too. Our bodies are fields of consciousness, our cells are alive and intelligent, our body is our spirit physically expressing itself. Physical changes occur in our bodies in response to thoughts and beliefs so imagine what a stream constant, negative messages creates?
This video illustrates my point perfectly. It is quite shocking to see the words we frequently use to ourselves being spoken out loud and directed towards someone else.
As you watch the video, keep in mind these images from Dr. Emoto’s work with water crystals and remind yourself that our bodies consist mainly of water.

Powerfully Effective Affirmations To Let Go of the Pain of Holding On to Shame
At the very bottom of the Map of Consciousness * lies shame. Shame is a dark and heavy energy. We may hang our heads in shame, slink away wishing we were invisible while deep within us the primitive fear of banishment may arise. Alternatively shame may manifest as perfectionism, rigidity and intolerance. In the vibration of shame you won’t allow love to come into your life. You will attract that which you most fear and attract drama and conflict in to your experience. To find peace and create the lives and relationships we want, we have to clear the energy of shame out of our energy fields.
Shame is hugely destructive to emotional, psychological and physical health. Nothing positive comes out of shame, it pulls us down and can make us vulnerable to other negative emotions.
Consciously acknowledging and releasing your shame allows the energy of it to flow though and out of your energy field clearing toxicity, leaving you feeling more peaceful and allowing your body to release, relax and heal.
