“How you are feeling about yourself is determining your physical body more so than what you are consuming or how you are exercising”, the Pleiadian Collective channelled by Wendy Kennedy. In this excerpt from Tuning In Spirit Channelers in America about our bodies, the message is consistent. You create your reality by how you feel about yourself, by your consistent thoughts and beliefs and by your vibration.
So how do we make those all important belief changes? We make a start by changing our self talk, being kinder to our bodies and gentler with ourselves.
I asked Spirit why so many of us have become disillusioned with our old ways of working and being at this time. Why the old ways are no longer working. Why we are drawn to do “what we came here to do” even if we don’t know exactly what that is. Why fear comes up when we face change, how it serves us, how to use it and move on. How we can live the life of our dreams when we are challenged by uncertainty.
The conversation expanded to include our soul intent when we came in to this lifetime. Who we are, what we came here to do and where we go from here.
As usual, Spirit had a unique, practical and sometimes humourous take on life, helpful tips and great advice to help us create the life, work and future we dream of.
Spirit often tells people that their bodies can heal themselves if they get themselves out of their body’s way.
For a long time I wondered what the difference was between getting out of the way and putting your head in the sand. I definitely didn’t know the difference when I set out on my own journey of growth and expansion with a health issue three years ago.
With my background in EFT, Zpoint, Reiki and Divine Love Healing, I knew there had to be an underlying emotional cause. I was sufficiently connected to my body to know what treatment it wanted or didn’t want, but I still was unclear about the difference in getting out of my own way and putting my head in the sand.
So for a time I put my head in the sand and travelled through the various stages, both emotional and physical, that I suspect many people facing so called potentially “serious” illness go through.
Why Did I Get Ill?
Because of my background, I missed out the “why me?” and “poor me” phases but I visited all the other places we can go when faced with dis-ease. If you find yourself in a “why me?” or a “poor me” stage, don’t beat yourself up about it, accept it, be with it for a while, truly feel it and know it will pass. You don’t live there, you are only visiting!
The disassociation phase, is, I believe, a very important one. It was during this phase that I made a big discovery. Disassociation from the “dis-eased” part is the very last thing it needs. It needs love, true, deep love and appreciation. I gained deep knowing from my disassociation phase, I needed to truly, truly love and appreciate my body, not just say the words, have an intellectual understanding or a belief. I had to love so deeply that the love, truly permeated my cells. That is what they responded to. Although intellect and belief help, they are surface helpers, I needed to go far beyond that, in to a deep, cellular, loving and knowing.
When I got to that deep, loving, knowing, I realised I’d discovered the difference between getting myself out of the way and putting my head in the sand. There was a level of true acceptance, deep love and knowing in getting and staying out of my body’s way. All the energy I’d used putting my head in the sand, and it takes a lot of energy to do that, was freed up to be used in a positive, loving, healing way.
We don’t think twice when our body recovers from a cold, a pulled muscle or a cut finger. Why then do we believe there are some dis-eases, it can’t heal? That makes no sense to me.
I wish anyone who is faced with dis-ease, a very loving journey, be gentle with yourself.

The animals of Wyoming gave me such a huge gift, it was absolutely magical.
I had an opportunity to ask Spirit why John and I had been so blessed, loved, and surrounded by animals and birds. This was their beautiful answer:-
“As you know, we have always said, animals are often, almost always in fact, your best teachers, because they are so aligned with their higher selves, with their souls, their spirits, with God, Goddess. And the animals, here where John lives, in Wyoming, are not used to people like you or like him. People who can communicate with them. Everybody can communicate with them, but few do, especially in a place like this and so, they recognised a kindred spirit in you.
And it doesn’t matter what animals we’re talking about, the deer that visited you in the back yard in the mornings, the crows, the eagles, the rabbits. They were clustering around you because they loved your energy. They knew they were safe, they were loved, there was no danger there, they just simply wanted to be in your energy.
Even the wolves that you talked to telepathically, they picked up on that too. And we can tell you, with certainty, that some of those wolves who would have been shot and killed when Wyoming opened the season on them on October 1st did move in to a safe place. Perhaps it was Yellowstone, it probably was Yellowstone for some of them at least, because they’re safe there..….
That’s why they were drawn to you, because they know who you are and you know who they are.”
