What Your Body Wants to Hear: Support Your Stomach

The stomach is generally where we store store fear and anxiety. That “stomach churning” sensation is often an indication of anxiety. We can also store acidic or corrosive emotions, such as anger or insecurity in our stomachs. This can result in acidic health conditions, when we just can’t stomach the situation any longer. Make peace with your stomach and you will be more able to enjoy more nourishment both from food and love.

Because our backs carry so much emotional “stuff” for us, itis divided in to three parts.

The Upper Back

The upper back represents the reverse side of the heart; this is where we find fear, irritation, anger, resentment and frustration.

The Middle Back

The middle back holds the balance in the centre of the body; therefore it is connected to decision-making. Resentment can also be found in the middle back. The saying “I bent over backwards to help” relates to the middle back.

The Lower Back

The lower back is often where we store feelings of being unsupported, of the weight of responsibility. Issues of security, isolation, survival and self-support are often stored in the lower back.

There is a natural overlap among the lower, middle and upper back. For this reason, we offer a three session pack, Full Back

The hips are often where we store fear of moving forward, of the direction our lives are taking or a general fear about our very survival. This in turn can cause us to hold on so tightly that we are immobilised. This recording will help you loosen up and move forward.

The knees are like shock absorbers, taking the strain between the weight of the body above and the ups and downs of the terrain below. When we can’t bear the load any more, the knees may start to react!

I could feel their energy but I wasn’t consciously aware of it until the script was complete.  If you are familiar with the film “Tuning In – Channelers in America”, Bashar, Tobias or Chief Joseph, you will recognise many of their wise words in this recording.  That, blended with the beautiful music from Thaddeus, an angelic being of light, channelled by Sanaya Roman, makes for a powerful meditative, healing experience.

FINGERS & TOES

IF

They say we teach that which we most need to learn and I believe that’s true. So many healers and teachers set out to heal themselves then find themselves teaching others. That’s just how it seems to work.

I have always been my own guinea pig, my own experiment. Before I recommend any therapy or teacher you can rest assured I’ve tried it myself.

The other day I had an interesting lesson. Something I’d overlooked and not used my own process or teachings on – my fingers!

When I get cold, my fingers turn numb and white. It can be quite painful when they warm up and the feeling comes back. It also freaks people out when they see it. I first remember it happening when I was 16 and although people have given me all kinds of dire warnings, I am still around to tell the tale.

At one point when I moved from a centrally heated house to one where the only heating was an open fire and I had to get coal and wood in no matter what the weather, my fingers were really bad and I took Ginko biloba and Ginger to great effect.

Over the years I kind of forgot about it but the weather was bitingly cold. My gloves were wet from throwing the ball for Finn and my fingers were frozen.

It suddenly dawned on me – talk to them! Not rocket science considering my work and very surprising that I hadn’t thought of it before, because I truly do live what I teach – usually :).

I apologised to my fingers for forgetting about them and leaving them out in the cold, literally!

I reminded myself that my fingers are part of me and thanked them. I reminded myself that my body knows how to send blood to my fingers. I asked my body to send more blood to warm my fingers up. I envisaged warm, healthy, loving blood being pumped to my fingers. I welcomed my fingers back in to the fold, apologised and thanked them. I can’t say how long it took, but it wasn’t long before they started to warm up. When I took the wet gloves off my fingers were perfectly pink.

Almost immediately my toes felt cold. I have never had a problem with them before, but they seemed to want to get in on the act and have loving thoughts and warm blood directed to them. I simply repeated the process and warmed them up too.

Beyond Affirmations App.

I am incredibly excited about the launch of the Beyond Affirmations mobile app created by my very dear and incredibly talented friends at Indie Goes: Software With A Soul.

Although my name is on it, this has been a team effort and a labour of love by an amazing group of like-minded people. I feel truly blessed to know and work with such a beautiful group of souls. I thank them all from the bottom of my heart for everything they have done to help get this work out to the world. We will be able to reach so many more people with the app than we could with our website alone.

As many of you know, I am passionate about helping people realise their body is not their enemy. Their body is always doing the very best it can to support them. By reaching more people through the app, we can help them realise they are not victims, they can find peace and love, and appreciate their bodies. In doing that, they will tap into their natural ability to heal—this will be a dream come true.

The app contains 18 guided healing meditations. They’re designed to guide you through releasing the emotions responsible for creating pain and dis-ease in specific areas of your body. Also, you will release those psychological blocks which prevent you from doing the things you want to do.
