Talk To Your Pain

Talk To Your Pain

Talking to your pain might seem like a strange concept but I am willing to bet that you already do it!

When you become aware of your self-talk you realise that when you are in pain you tend to complain about it, if not to others, certainly to yourself. You may grumble about it, feel resentful and even angry that it prevents you from doing things you want to do.

You judge and criticise yourself and your body. You tell others what a “bad back” or “bad hip” you have and how much you suffer with it.

If you have a name for your pain, a diagnosis, it is worth remembering diagnosis is simply a word. It is just a word used to describe a symptom or symptoms showing up in the body. Diagnosis is only a name, agreed upon to identify specific symptoms.

A diagnosis only has as much power as YOU give it! When you talk about it and identify yourself with it, you give it more power, you give it more energy. When you talk about it, you are affirming you have it!

If you do any of these things, you are already talking to your pain and you are affirming it! The great news is that now that you are aware of this you can change it!

You can change it this very minute by changing the way you talk to the part of your body that is pain. Think of it as a small child, puppy or kitten scared and in pain. Instead of complaining, focus on sending it warm, loving thoughts, if you can (you might not be ready for this step yet) thank it for everything it has done for you and for the message it is sending you. By doing this you change the energy around it instantly.

If you need help knowing which words to use, look up my free affirmations and use those that resonate with you. There are over 2,500 of them so you are bound to find something that suits your situation. When you use these affirmations you are using the same words the people below used to ease their pain. Please use them freely and share them with friends and loved ones.

I am truly blessed to receive many messages from people who have used my What Your Body Wants To Hear meditations to help them change the way they speak to their bodies. Here are just a few message of how changing the way they viewed the pain and spoke to their bodies helped them.

To your health and healing,

Love,

Barbara

Knee Pain

“I bought your body wants to hear, support your knees, and surprisingly for me, it has helped my knees immensely, making most of the pain go away. I try to listen to it everyday. Because of a bad accident, my left knee hurt either a little or a lot every day. Since listening to your affirmations, it either hasn’t hurt or it hurts just a little. SO thank you very much”. ~ Mr T.

“I listened to the Support the knees 3 times and I no longer have knee pain! In fact there was a significant difference after the first listen. I have torn meniscus in both knees and don’t want to have the surgery. I still don’t want the pain. It’s pretty amazing however”. Ms. F.L.

“I want to say thanks again for making the knee meditation. I really have done a lot of different treatments, and I have Western treatment on it, and your meditation worked really fast! I had read some of the testimonials, and I was scared that although one person said it worked within three listens, and the others were positive, I was scared it wouldn’t have the same affect on me. But I was very happy and surprised that it did”. Mr T.F.

“My knee pain went away! Fabulous results when combined with E.F.T. Tapping. Highly recommended”. Ms R.D.

“Thank you Barbara Clark. I was introduced to your affirmations by a crystal healer on the Big Island of Hawaii in 2016. They have truly been life saving. I now use them in combination with reiki energy for my husband. He had partial knee replacements in 2014 and was still suffering with daily swelling. After a few weeks of your meditations – the swelling went away, rarely comes back!!!” Ms V.M.P. 28th March 2018

Hip Pain

“A few days ago after moving my father in law to a nursing home, we had to clear out his apt. This is the apt I have taken care of him for almost a year. Clearing out his apt was filled with so many emotions. I developed almost debilitating left hip pain while moving his stuff out. Now two days later after cleaning up a day ago, I woke up with pain in the morning but my nightfall tonight, it is almost all gone. I was in so much pain I was crying and could only drag my leg around all yesterday. Even today earlier in the day, there was still intense pain at times. As an herbalist, I began to question if it was not emotional rather than overdoing it when moving the stuff out. I know it is. There was so much fear for the future since he was paying us to take care of him. So we have half the income we had but I know we will make it through, even though it is scary since we are 66 and 70. We had to put him in….we physically could not handle him. It was an abrupt change from 24 hours a day for weeks to none. Emotionally and physically I was a wreck trying to care for him in the last weeks. I feel much better tonight mentally as well. I have felt drained like being hit with a mack truck for weeks”. I just did these affirmations with EFT AND felt a load off of my emotions!
Also the sharp pain subsides significantly. Emotional freedom with affirmations are amazing. Thanks for sharingDecember 2017

“I was looking for hip affirmations (because working directly with the physical body wasn’t working and it was very clearly linked to emotional pain). My hips are starting to feel better already and it was truly useful when my hip was in its most extreme pain. I recommend your site all the time! Ms C. M. March 2018

“Hip Hip Hooray!!! There is one I am working on for my right hip. It is starting to show some improvement. Ms S.D.

“I had two incidences with a swollen ankle between July and October and I wanted to get to the vibrational cause at the time. Now that I have shifted further into love it has revealed itself at at time where I can view what I was living more objectively. Much appreciation. Ms J.A.
